The second edition of the 15K Formentera Sunset Run has once again hung the “Sold Out” sign. The Balearic race has filled all its available spots for next October 11th, consolidating itself as one of the most sought-after events on the national running calendar. And it’s no wonder. The race has found the perfect formula for success: a challenging yet achievable distance of 15 kilometers, combined with the magic of running at sunset in Formentera—an unforgettable experience that leaves behind unique images.

More than 2,300 runners now have their bib secured for this second edition. The event continues to grow with the addition of parallel activities throughout the weekend, offering participants a complete experience during their stay on the island.

This year, on Saturday, October 11th, the brand-new Run & Coffee will debut—led by Eric Domingo and Pau Capdevila from the PC Team, joined by the Frolik running group. This exclusive activity will be limited to 200 runners.

Other side events include a yoga masterclass on Saturday morning by the Mediterranean, a two-hour kayak or paddle surf trip from Espalmador, a bus tour to discover Formentera’s natural wonders, and the essential Lunch & Music to close the weekend at the iconic Fandango restaurant.

In addition to the flagship 15K, the event will also feature the 5K Sunset Run—a shorter distance perfect for those looking to start running in the best possible way. All participants in both races will receive a race pack that includes the official event T-shirt by Ecoalf, designed with lightweight, breathable fabrics ideal for warm-weather running.

With entries sold out and high demand, the organization has opened a waiting list for the 15K Formentera Sunset Run.
Those interested can sign up and will be assigned a bib if places become available due to cancellations or distance changes.
