15k Formentera Sunset Run

The 15K Formentera Sunset Run announces itself at the Rome Half Marathon

This weekend, the Half Marathon Roma-Ostia, one of Italy’s most popular sporting events, takes place in the Italian capital. The race, celebrating 50 years of history, will gather around 12,000 runners at the starting line this Sunday. In fact, the Roma-Ostia is the fastest half marathon in Italy’s history, with six runners finishing in under an hour. So, the 15K Formentera Sunset Run couldn’t miss it!

Visitors to the Runner’s Expo will have the chance this weekend to discover first-hand the charm of our race. Few events offer participants the opportunity to run through such breathtaking locations, where everyone is welcome.

On the path to consolidation

The countdown is on for the second edition of the 15K Formentera Sunset Run. On October 11, Es Pujols will once again welcome hundreds of runners eager to enjoy a magical sunset at their own running pace. At the same time, the event aims to establish itself in 2025 as a national and international benchmark race on the island. After selling out registrations for its inaugural edition, the race seeks to keep growing and showcase the wonders of this beautiful Mediterranean gem to the world.

Under the motto #RunAndFeel, the 15K Formentera Sunset Run offers athletes two distance options (15K and 5K), attracting runners of all levels and providing the chance to experience a unique weekend that blends tourism, sports, gastronomy, culture, and fun— the perfect getaway to enjoy with company.
